Visiting BTSD
this is the RPAC, where Buckeye Tang Soo Do trains.

A Guide for Non-OSU Affiliated persons.

Note: This article does not apply to OSU Students, Faculty or Staff. Anyone with an existing RPAC membership is always welcome to visit our class. Staff or faculty without a membership should go here.

All WTSDA members are welcome to join us for class. We consider it a great honor that you would consider dropping in when travel, work, or vacation bring you to Columbus, Ohio! In the past, we have hosted several students from across the country, and they have always had a positive experience in our dojang.

However, due to the nature of the facility our dojang is located in, we ask that you follow these guidelines should you wish to visit us for a class:

Let us know. We ask that you send us an email notifying us of your intent to train with us and to recieve permission from the Chief Instructor. Beyond being a courtesy to us, it allows us to let you know if class is cancelled or in a different room! Additionally, prior notice will ensure that arrangements are made to meet you in the lobby and show you to changing facilities as well as the dojang. Simply email btsd@osu.edu and let us know your name, rank and school. You may also wish to receive permission from your instructor.

Important:The Chief Instructor reserves the right to deny anyone permission to train with BTSD, so it is strongly suggested that you notify us before your arrival, lest you are turned down at the door.

Guest Passes. The RPAC facility requires that guests and visitors pay to enter the building. Currently, the cost of a guest pass is $10.00 for the entire day and grants you access to all the RPAC has to offer. In order to purchase a guest pass, you must be sponsored. Again, notifying us in advance will make this a much smoother process. Please view the Recsports page on Guest Passes for more information. Please note that BTSD does not charge or recieve any portion of this money.

Parking. Like most public universities, parking is always problematic. While there is some metered parking nearby, we strongly suggest using the Neil Avenue Parking Garage, which charges an hourly fee. The Neil Avenue garage is the closest parking to RPAC. Parking without a permit on a surfaced lot will result in a parking citation, and unpaid citations are forwarded onto the Columbus Police Department and show up on your driving record.
